Department scholarships are available to students who have completed at least one semester within the previous year at Alvin Community College. The scholarships provide up to $1400 credit for tuition for each recipient, $700 for fall semester and $700 for spring semester.
If interested, you must enroll at ACC for at least 12 credit hours and be a full-time student.
In order to maintain the scholarship once selected, you need to maintain an overall 3.0 GPA to qualify for the second semester scholarship. Some scholarships have additional criteria, such as a grade no lower than "C". You must also remain in the program of study for which you received the award.

Eligibility: Returning, full-time student, pursuing Associates in Arts Degree with demonstrated talent for art, and currently involved in Art Department activities.
